STEP BY STEP WAYS TO MAKING LIQUID SOAP

      Every household uses soap for domestic purposes. The liquid soap is very simple to produce and helps so much in our washings and other household activities,it is alsoba very lucrative business for entrepreneurs.
      With just a little capital you can start producing your own liquid soap with your own label.
      Just like every skill have it's own equipments,the liquid soap production also have its equipment to reduce hazards from the chemicals in use.

Equipments Required:

Plastic drum

Some bowls

Wooden stirrer (for mixing or stirring of chemicals)

Milk cups (for measurement)

Hand gloves

Packaging materials

Labels(for commercial purposes)

Materials needed for 20litres

* Water........18litre

* Nitrosol/Antisol.....1tin milk cup

* Sulphuric acid.....1litre

* Caustic soda.....1/3tin milk cup

* Soda ash.....1/2 tin milk cup

* Texapon........6 teaspoonful

* Formalin....... 7 teaspoonful

* Perfume......as desired

* Sodium Laureate Sulphate (SLS)..6
teaspoons

* Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP)..6 teaspoons

* Colour............................as desired

METHOD OF PRODUCTION

*Dissolve the caustic soda with one litre of water and allow it for 1hr

*Dissolve the soda ash in 1litre of water and allow to stay for 1hr

*Pour the sulphonic acid in a bowl and add the the perfume and stir,and add the Texapon and stir,then add 4litres of water and stir very well

*Dissolve the SLS in 2tin milk cups of water

*Dissolve the the STPP in water 2tin milk cups of water

*Dissolve the Nitrosol in water.

PREPARATION

*Add the dissolve sulphonic to the        dissolved Nitrosol

* Add the dissolved caustic soda and stir
* Add the dissolved soda ash and stir
* Add the formalin and stir
* Add the dissolved STTP and stir
* Add the dissolved SLS
* Dissolve the colour in water then add it to the solution and stir thoroughly
* Add some more water depending on the thickness.
Leave the mixture for some hours for complete dissolution then package for use.
